A long time ago I’ve bought a rack with some AM VHF receive modules at a ham flea market. The receive originated from an airport nearby where it had been part of the ATC systems. The gear I’d bought was typical German and therefore rugged material. But due to its size, the work which had to be done and lack of time this receive was stowed away at the attick

Because the documentation of this receive was published at this website a fellow radio amateur contacted me. He also obtained such a receiver but that piece wasn’t exactly as expected. So some emails later he decided to buy my VKE receiver.

At the end of the year 2021 I’ve received a picture of the beautiful result. Good to see how the receiver I’ve bought more than 20 years earlier was given a good destination!
