From 2015 onward all effort by some dutch radio amateurs regarding paging was collected at the website dutchamateurpagernetwork.nl At that time paging was nog really common among radio amateurs, except in Germany. In that country an extensive network had existed, but with the decline of the packet radio network also the pager network fell apart.

The dutch experiments included some ingenious techniques. But at Aachen University (DL) things were setup in a very structured and sophisticated way. DAPNET was born. Also radio amateurs in the Netherlands connected to DAPNET. But the big boost came with the option to have DMR hotspots send pager messages in their idle time.

In fact the website dutchamateurpagernetwork.nl was of no use anymore. But to save the nice and nostalgic gadgets the content of this website can still be accessed via Hamnet at the URL web.pe2kmv.ampr.org .
