Manual installation of Unipager

In case the automated installation of Unipager fails the application can be installed manually by following the steps below.

1. Download the executable for Debian or ARM at the bottom of the page
2. Unpack the ZIP-file and copy its content to directory /usr/local/bin
3. Create a new directory /var/lib/unipager
4. Create a file /etc/systemd/system/unipager.service and copy the lines below:

[Unit]
Description=UniPager POCSAG transmitter controller
After=network.target

[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/unipager
WorkingDirectory=/var/lib/unipager

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

5. Reload the systemd-configuration, start the unipager service and launch unipager at boot:

systemctl daemon-reload
systemctl start unipager
systemctl enable unipager
